GAOS Firebrand shutter doors are assessed and certified by the LPCB to BS EN 16034 and tested to BS EN 1634-1, with sizes available up to 7m wide and 7m high. Manufactured and installed to the highest standards, they follow a strict labelling procedure to ensure product identity, traceability, and full compliance.
As of November 1, 2019, legislation requires all fire shutter doors to be tested and certified to the latest BS EN 1634-1 standard. Fire shutters manufactured to the outdated BS 476 standard do not comply with the law, and installers may be held liable for using non-compliant products. Always verify that your fire shutter supplier holds a valid certification to ensure compliance and safety.
